Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Backend or Fullstack Developer specializing in Node.js and TypeScript to join our team.
You must be based in the Toulouse area, hold a Master's degree (or equivalent qualification), and have at least 3 years of professional software development experience with these technologies.
Technical Skills / Hard Skills
We're looking for someone who knows how to code, loves coding, and enjoys talking about it! ;)
Required: Advanced proficiency in backend development with TypeScript:
Node.js
NestJS
Nice to have: Experience with frontend development and/or other backend technologies:
Vue.js, React, Angular
Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot
A good understanding of the broader backend ecosystem would also be a real advantage. Here are a few examples (this is not an exhaustive list):
Cloud services: AWS, GCP, Azure, OVHcloud, Scaleway
Orchestration and processing: Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Mesos
Databases: PostgreSQL ❤️, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
AI: LLMs, RAG, and all the other mind-blowing stuff 🤯 involving billions (or even trillions!) of dollars. We're not AI evangelists, but we're always curious to hear fresh perspectives on the topic.
Personality / Soft Skills
Knowing the entire O'Reilly library by heart won't be enough (damn it!). You'll also need at least a little bit of:

Our recruitment process includes three interviews, preferably in person, and a short coding exercise. Here's how it works:
First interview: An opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, get to know each other, and see whether we're a good fit.
Coding exercise: A take-home assignment that should take no more than 4 hours, focused on backend development. This will help us assess whether your coding approach aligns with our standards.
Second interview: A technical discussion with two of our monkeys. These conversations are often particularly interesting, with the coding exercise serving as a starting point.
Final interview: A chance to review and agree on the proposed employment contract together and go through all the administrative details.
