CFP Deliberation: The Program Takes Flight

The 2026 Call for Proposals has closed, making way for the most anticipated (and dreaded) moment of the season: deliberation.

Each proposal was read, reread, and scored according to our criteria (relevance, originality, topic balance, and diversity of profiles) by about fifteen people, before the big deliberation meeting bringing the whole team together. 280 proposals received for 48 available spots: suffice it to say that mathematics were ruthless and debates lively (the coffee also suffered greatly).

Let's be honest: turning down a good talk always hurts a little. A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a topic; without you, there would be no program. Acceptances and, unfortunately, rejections have been sent, and the program is now finalized.

For rejected proposals, we are offering those who wish it an explanation of their evaluation. We know it's frustrating not to know why a proposal you took time to prepare was rejected, and what could be improved. Fortunately, not everyone asks for it, because it's a lot of work 😅

Over the next few weeks on our social media: you will discover the speakers. Stay tuned.

Sponsors & Partners: The Booths Are Filling Up

On the partner side, things are moving fast. A big thank you to Google, MonkeyPatch, Sopra Steria, Lyra Network, Celad, BPCE SI, SII, Wyll, Capgemini, Ippon Technologies, and other sponsors currently undergoing validation, who are already trusting us for this anniversary edition.

The booths are going fast... but there are still a few spots left! If you know a company that would like to meet the Toulouse tech community and celebrate our 10th birthday with us, now is the time to introduce them. The partner package is available upon request.

Keynotes: Shhh... It's Being Prepared

We won't tell you who will be gracing the main stage just yet... but we can already promise you that the keynotes for this 10th anniversary edition are worth the trip.

A quote from Plato: "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."

See you next month for more information.

Logistics: The Behind-the-Scenes Work

Less glamorous, but absolutely vital. The security plan is progressing and will soon be finalized with Diagora. In parallel, we are working on the room organization to comfortably accommodate our ~1,200 attendees: traffic flow, capacities, space layout, and track distribution.

This is the kind of invisible work that makes a day go smoothly... or not. So we're not taking it lightly.

Project of the Month: Rethinking the Welcome Experience

New for this edition: we are completely rethinking the attendee welcome experience. The goal: a smoother arrival process, shorter queues, and a first impression worthy of the event.

We'll tell you more when the project is finalized, but the idea is simple: to ensure your DevFest starts off right from the moment you walk through the door.

10th Anniversary Red Thread

Each month until D-day, a section to celebrate a decade of DevFest Toulouse.

This month, a bit of history: since 2016, DevFest Toulouse has been 10 years of adventure, 7 editions already behind us (and the 8th in full preparation!), hundreds of talks, and a community of volunteers that has never stopped growing: from 300 curious individuals gathered at the IUT of Blagnac in 2016 to the 1,200 attendees today, across six parallel stages at Diagora.

And to mark the occasion, we're preparing some surprises for this anniversary edition, including a certain mascot with a very space-like appearance, just waiting for a countdown to reveal itself. Patience... takeoff is approaching.

That's it for June! The countdown has begun, and we'll see you next month for the next steps. Until then, follow us on social media and spread the word: DevFest Toulouse is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
